Flex Wheeler’s Comeback my Thoughts

Image result for flex wheeler

Recently Flex Wheeler has announced that he will be making a come back at the 2017 Classic Physique Olympia. I believe that Flex Wheeler will do very well at the Classic Physique Olympia considering he is almost 52 years old.

With his proven symmetry minus his synthol looking arms (Sorry Flex) I think that he will be a force to be reckoned with. Not to mention his political connection in the sport of bodybuilding will pay off big time, therefore I don’t have the slightest doubt in my mind that Flex Wheeler will be in the top three.

You’ve read that right, Flex Wheeler will win the show outright or at the very least get second or third place.

The reason I believe that Flex Wheeler got back into competing again was probably because he missed that fire and that drive that built him and his identity up. It was bodybuilding that gave him his identity without bodybuilding I would assume that he was lost as Dorian Yates was when he retired from professional bodybuilding back in 1997.

Also, not to mention if Keven Levrone can make a comeback certainly Flex Wheeler can make a comeback as well. Therefore, I wish Flex Wheeler nothing but the best at this years upcoming Classic Physique Olympia. We want you to win Flex and bring the 90’s it’s well deserved glory among today’s professional athletes.

Competitive Bodybuilding is Dying

Joe and Ben Weider would roll around in their graves if they can see what there beloved sport is turning into. What once used to be a honorable sport which brought the people of the world together with physical fitness and beauty is turning into a gong show.

Tattooed freaks and people that where in the gay for pay business are now the ambassadors to the sport.

Not to mention as the physique and bikini classes get bigger and bigger by the year, competitive bodybuilding will shrink and shrink by the year. It’s just the nature of the game, another more interesting and socially acceptable sport or class if you would call it that appeared.

Also, the IFBB is becoming a shadow of its once former self without Joe and Ben Weider acting as the foundation of the IFBB. My prediction is once the foundation breaks, everything will then collapse.

Overall it is a sad thing to see, however bodybuilding still remains in our hearts, therefore do bodybuilding for yourself and yourself only!

Big Natty Daddy Documentary

The documentary “15 and Injecting Steroids” by the BBC shows Big Natty Daddy in his prime when he was injecting anabolic steroids and other performance enhancing drugs. The documentary also states that Big Natty Daddy is no longer using anabolic steroids and other performance enhancing drugs, as well as him being off all social media, which we already knew ever since he disappeared from social media in the beginning of September 2015.

What I believe what happened is that Big Natty Daddy sold all rights to his videos to the BBC and other television producers as well as making a deal with them or perhaps someone else that he will get off all anabolic steroids and other performance enhancing drugs.

Gary Strydom Fires Shots at Rich Piana

Gary Strydom a former IFBB and WBF professional bodybuilder has fired shots at Rich Piana. These shots sting like a bees stinger and like my uncle used to say words hurt more then physical pain.

Gary Strydom basically called out Rich Piana’s fake body as a body that is filled with oil, PMMA and other various substances. Also, as the people on Youtube used to say; the amount of oil in Piana’s body can supply the worlds demand.

Yes, Gary Strydoms body is a fake body as well. A body that was built on steroids and other various substances, however his body is a little more real then Piana’s body.

However, lets look at this logically, I believe the only reason Gary Strydom called out Piana was that because Rich Piana as of today is more in the limelight and spotlight rather then Gary Strydom! That’s it, that’s the only reason Gary Strydom called out Piana, because he wants a piece of the pie as well!

Cardio-The Bodybuilding Way

Cardio when done right can only benefit your training and physique. However, most average meat heads in the gym do cardio the wrong way. They think that more is always better so therefore when they do there cardiovascular training they always overdue it.

The proper way to do cardio as a bodybuilder would be to do it the high intensity way, instead of the marathon way. When you do cardio do it before weight training or on days when your not weight training, due to the fact that cardio after training can seriously negatively effect the bodies recovery ability and totally screw up your strength and muscle gains.

The way I do my cardiovascular training is usually before I start weight training, I step on the treadmill walk for five minutes then put the machine on full speed and sprint for five minutes. This is how you effectively burn lots of calories while not putting your body in a catabolic state.

Therefore to break it all down in a very easy format to understand to do proper cardiovascular training the bodybuilding way you should:

1. Before weight training step on the treadmill or a exercise machine of your choice

2. Do a five minute warmup by keeping the pace nice and easy. After you feel warmed up begin to make your speed faster and faster, hold the highest speed you can take for five minutes of sprinting

3. Do some light strecthing and begin your weight trianing session

Vegan Gains Gets Smoked

This Vegan Gains fellow is quite an interesting man, he promotes and advocates that the vegan diet is the superior diet and that humans where made only to eat vegan.

I am not against veganism, however I believe it is not the superior diet, nor should it be followed. You might wonder why, well it’s quite simple really. Our bodies are amino acid driven organisms, meaning that they are protein driven. Everything in our body is made from protein, our lean skeletal muscle, our hair, nails and not to mention a few other things are all made from protein. Also, if we don’t constantly consume protein our bodies can’t repair itself, also not to mention our bodies have no known natural storage for protein, as opposed to fats and carbohydrates.

Sure, there are some certain vegetables, nuts and fruits that contain protein but the quality and quantity of the protein is not the same as you would get from an animal source.

Also, Vegan Gains is wrong when he said that humans where only made to eat vegan. During the Ice Age when there was a scarcity of fruits, vegetables and nuts our ancestors only survived due to the fact that they ate animals. Also, the only reason Vegan Gains has a large variety of fruits, nuts and vegetables is because of globalization. If it wasn’t for that, Vegan Gains would have no choice but to eat meat because if he was vegan he would be deficient in many nutrients.

Therefore, the vegan diet is not the superior diet not should it be a followed diet in the first place. The superior diet in my opinion is one with a mixed diet, containing meat, vegetables, nuts and fruits.

Craig Golias Larger Then Life

Craig Golias is an amateur bodybuilder that is currently fighting to get a pro card, which would make him a professional IFBB bodybuilder. He is known for his larger then life persona and not to mention his larger then life physique.

However, some people in the bodybuilding community have criticized Craig Golias by stating that he is a phony and a fake. They say he uses Photoshop and they also say that he shoots oil in his massive arms and legs.

People also criticize this infamous photo of him, stating that most of his mass disappeared as he tried to get sliced and diced for his contest. They also made fun of his gynecomastia as well. To all those people that criticized this photo of him, all I have to say to them is this;

First off this is an old photo of him and as many people know inexperienced steroid users are more prone to gynecosmastia when compared to experienced steroid users. Which ultimately means that he was an inexperienced bodybuilder when they took this photo. He didn’t know what worked for his body yet and not to mention he didn’t know which compounds he should run and more importantly he didn’t know how he should approach the contest.

Overall, the Craig Golias of today is different from the Craig Golias of the past. With his current knowledge and experience, I expect him to be a force not to reckon with!

Therefore, my friends, I am here to say that Craig Golias is not a fake or a phony but the real deal, all three hundred odd something pounds worth!

Lorenzo Becker Quits Competitive Bodybuilding

Some of you may know him as the kid that turned into a monster, others simply refer to him as Lorenzo Becker. Lorenzo Becker was a French IFBB professional that entered a couple of contents. His most recent contest was at the Arnold Classic in Madrid of this year, where some official reports state that he did not place as well as he would of liked.

I believe due to his low placing at the Arnold Classic this year led Lorenzo Becker to quit competitive bodybuilding. Also, as evidenced on his social media account, Lorenzo Becker has been offline for a while now. His last post on his Facebook account was in early October, likewise with his Youtube account. Lorenzo Becker also mentions social media useless and worthless in his last Youtube video.

He also mentions how hard it was for him to get a sponsor, not one that just sends protein powder, but a real sponsor which sends monthly cheques. This is the sad reality of competitive bodybuilding, this is a sport with no money in it unless you are the top five athletes in the world. I remember Dorian Yates said in one of his recent interviews with London Real that if he didn’t get a top five finish at the 1990 Night of Champions, that he would quit competitive bodybuilding and just focus up on building up his gym and his brand. This is why I believe bodybuilding should be a hobby only, just do it for yourself and no one else.

Therefore, I believe the reasons Lorenzo Becker quit competitive bodybuilding can be summarized by these three points:

1 Lack of money in the sport

2. Getting into contest shape is difficult and hard on the body

3. Lack of interest in bodybuilding

What’s The Deal With Palumboism?

Palumboism is a very rare and complex disease only seen in the ranks of professional bodybuilders, especially the ones from the 1990’s and 2000’s eras.

Palumboism effects mostly the limbs and especially the midsection area. Where the width of the ribs, waist and pelvis grow disproportionately, while the obliques thicken thus rendering the person from sucking in and holding in their stomachs. Something known as the vacuum in the bodybuilding world.

Where Did The Name Palumboism Come From?:

Palumboism was first noticed during the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. It was first noticed on bodybuilder Dave Palumbo, hence the name Palumboism.

Palumboism is a funny disease, since no one knows what really causes it. Some people speculate and assume that the reason the bodybuilders in the 1990’s and 2000’s got it was because of the high does HGH (human growth hormone) and insulin. I believe that in fact these are some of the causes of the disease. If you notice the bodybuilders from the beginning of competitive bodybuilding all the way to the early 1990’s, you’ll notice not a single person with the disease or its symptoms.

However, I believe the main culprit of Palumboism is stress and adrenal fatigue. Bodybuilders put vast amounts of stress on their bodies from various things, such as forced eating, steroid and performance enhancer use and weight training, which in itself is very stressful to the central nervous system.

Over time, it’s no wonder these people’s bodies begin to breakdown. Stress can do that to a person and high stress levels is one of the indications of adrenal fatigue.

Therefore the main causes of Palumboism can be broken down into these four areas

1. High steroid usage

2. High HGH/insulin usage

3. Stress

4. Adrenal fatigue

There are currently no known cures for Palumbosim. The only solution to the disease is if the person gives their bodies a rest, meaning no more usage of steroids and other various performance enhancers. Simple rest and recovery will soothe the disease and halt it right into it’s tracks.

Kali Muscle’s Slap City Banned for Good

Kali Muscle has been keeping it real and gangster to his fans out there on social media land. He is known for his famous preworkout called Hyphy Mud and his famous way of motivating people before doing a set in the gym, by hitting and slapping them, which is known as slap city!

Thankfully slap city has been banned for good at bodybuilding and fitness expos. Now, I understand some people find tortures techniques motivating before they do a set or anything for that matter, but in my mind it’s pretty crazy and disgusting. However, I believe the vast majority of people in the fitness industry do not get any motivation from tortures techniques such as slap city. In fact I believe the only reason people do it is too look cool and tough, because lets face it Kali Muscle did a good job promoting and marketing slap city and now every person in the fitness community and industry knows what it is.

Slap city is like the knockout game, it caught on and now everyone’s doing it just to fit in because it looks cool. Like I said above, thankfully it got banned and I hope it eventually dies down. If you do not find something motivating then don’t do it, stay away from the rat race and just be yourself!
