Why Low Carbohydrate Diets Suck

Low carbohydrate and even no carbohydrate diets are known to cause some serious flak to those that try it. I never knew the logic behind eating no carbohydrates just to lose some fat, the same fat that eventually the user will gain back once they finish the diet. Without carbohydrates to fuel your day, you will feel sluggish, tired, lethargic and you will simply not have enough energy to get through your day and workout.

Yes, with performance enhancing drugs anyone can power through their day and their workouts, with no problems, however, though, not many people have the guts to go through this route.

In my opinion low carbohydrate and non carbohydrate diets suck so much, that I don’t even think it’s worth it in the first place to even try it. If you decide to go against this rule, all I have to say to you is good luck. You’ll experience horrible side effects such as:

1. Brain Fog

Usually in about two to three days into your low carbohydrate diet you will experience brain fog. You’ll feel unproductive, sluggish and half drunk, the good news however is that this side effect only lasts about a week.

2. Induction Flu

You will feel like complete and utter garbage. You’ll likely experience flu like symptoms such as general weakness, muscle aches, muscle fatigue, headaches, nausea and sometimes you’ll experience a stuffy nose.

3. Short Fuse

Four words, you’ll be pissed off.

4. General Weakness

Pretty self explanatory. Without the necessary glycogen in your body, you will feel weak, real weak.

5. Other Side Effects

Other side effects include; dehydration and constipation.

Overall, if you want to lose fat I recommend lowering the amount of calories entering you system.
